Frequently Asked Questions

If your question isn't here, contact us — we reply within one business day.

Ordering & Pricing

Do you have minimum order quantities?

No minimum on standard DTF transfers. Order a single 22"×12" sheet or a hundred — same per-square-inch pricing tiers apply, with volume discounts at the Shop, Pro, and Volume tiers. Wholesale tier kicks in at 1,000+ pieces per month.

Can I order a sample before committing to a large run?

Yes. We offer a Canadian DTF Sample Pack — six pressed swatches on six different fabrics for CA$5 shipping, so you can press-test on your own equipment before committing to a larger order.

Are you a wholesale supplier?

Yes. We offer a wholesale tier at 1,000+ pieces per month with volume pricing, net-30 terms for qualified accounts, and a dedicated account manager. Apply for a wholesale account →

Will I be charged customs or duty?

No. Domestic Canadian shipment from a Canadian supplier — no customs paperwork, no duty, no FX surprises.

Is Canadian DTF a Canadian company?

Yes. We're Canadian-owned and Canadian-registered. GST/HST registered. Pricing in CAD. Production and shipping inside Canada.

Artwork & Files

What file formats do you accept?

PNG (preferred), PDF, AI, and PSD. Our Online Design Studio and upload tool both flag resolution, transparency, and colour-mode issues before you check out. Minimum 300 DPI is recommended.

Will I see a proof before production?

Yes. Every order gets a digital proof within hours of upload — most within 60 minutes during business hours. You can approve, request changes, or chat with our art team. Unlimited revisions before approval. Production starts only once the proof is approved.

Can you match a specific Pantone colour?

We can match Pantone colours within the typical CMYK gamut. Some Pantone colours (especially metallics, neons, and saturated oranges) sit outside what CMYK printing can reproduce — we'll flag those upfront and suggest the closest match. Add the Pantone reference in your order notes.

Production & Shipping

How fast will my order ship?

Same-day production on orders placed before our daily cutoff (12:00 PM Pacific in Vancouver, 3:00 PM Eastern in Toronto). Most of Canada then arrives in 1–2 business days via courier. Coast-to-coast in 48 hours covers nearly every major Canadian metro.

Where do you print?

Two Canadian fulfillment nodes: Vancouver (serving Western Canada and Yukon) and Toronto (serving Ontario, Quebec, Atlantic Canada, and the territories). Every transfer prints in Canada — no US fulfillment, no white-label US production, no offshore reshipping. Orders route automatically to the nearest node based on your shipping postal code.

Do you ship to the United States or internationally?

Not currently. Canadian DTF is a Canada-only service. If you're in the US, we recommend a US-based supplier — cross-border DTF shipping creates customs and pricing friction we don't want our customers to deal with.

Can I get express shipping?

Yes. Express options at checkout for next-day or 2-day delivery to most Canadian addresses. Free standard shipping on orders CA$99+.

What if I need a rush turnaround?

We offer 4-hour and 2-hour expedited production for tight deadlines, subject to daily capacity. Contact us before placing the order so we can confirm a slot.

Application & Care

What temperature and time should I use?

310°F (155°C), medium pressure, 12 seconds. Cold peel — let the carrier film cool fully before peeling. Re-press for 5 seconds after peel for durability. Full pressing guide on each product page.

What materials can I press onto?

Cotton, polyester, blends, tri-blends, canvas, denim. Not recommended: PVC, leather, waterproof shells, or anything with a coating that can't withstand 310°F.

How durable are the transfers?

Wash-tested past 100 cycles. Real-world durability depends on press technique, garment fabric, and wash conditions, but properly pressed Canadian DTF transfers easily outlast the garment they're pressed onto.

How should I wash a pressed garment?

Wash inside-out, cold or warm water, line dry or low-heat tumble dry. Avoid bleach and fabric softener. Skip dry-cleaning where possible.
